Terms and Condition for Auction at The Wagon and Horses

* Vendors can bring items for sale between 12 and 5pm.

* Viewing starts at 6pm until 7.55pm. Auction starts at 8pm.

* When Auction commences under no circumstances will you be allowed to view items unless authorised by the auctioneer.

* Under no circumstances are any member of the public allowed to approach the auctioneer or the auctioneers area unless accompanied by a member of staff.

* All items bought as seen.

* Any guarantee given on items sold are given by the vendor and not the auctioneer.

* A 30p sales fee will be added to all items sold. So if an item is sold for a £1 then you will be charged £1.30. If its sold for £6 then you will be charges £6.30 etc.

* All items sold at an auction should be removed from the premises on the same day. If storege is required then this will be charged extra, All items must be removed within 24 hours.

* The Wagon and Horses Auction  does not tolerate any abusive behaviour or language. If you do show this kind of behaviour then you will be asked to leave.

* Purchaser is responsible for the purchase immediately. The Wagon and Horses Auction shall not be responsible for loss, damage or theft of any purchase.

* All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

New Management

The Wagon and Horses is under new management.

With many years of experience, Tony and Maxine (The Red Lion, Acocks Green and The Queens Arms, Highgate)

They will aim to put community back into the community pub and bring a smile to all those who frequent the establishment.

As for poker, watch this space.

'Thriller' Party at The Wagon and Horses

On Saturday 31st of October 2009 – Halloweens Day and Night, the theme will be ‘Thriller’ based on Michael Jackson’s famous dance routine and music.

This will be open to all the family and prizes will be given for the best fancy dress!

The night time will be a karaoke party and prizes will be given for the best singers.

Guy Fawkes Night

On Saturday 7th of November 2009 will be bonfire and fireworks night at The Wagon and Horses.

During the day there will be fun rides and auction and on the night is when the display takes place. Open to all the family. Food and drink will be available.

Angie’s Animal Antics Show and Craft Activity.

Come and join the funday at The Wagon and Horses.  The cost is £5 per child and £3 for any child under 5 years of age.

The price includes seeing and holding the animals, a photo with an animal of your choice, various craft activity and food for the children.

This is limited to 30 places so make sure you secure the place for your child.

This all takes place on Thursday 20th August, 2009 between 13:00 and 14:00.

Footballers Reunion

Calling all WAG’s and handbags Dessie and John former footballers are getting back together for a reunion and fun. This will be at the Wagon and will feature the Madsquad Fambly (sic).

DJ’s on the night will be DJ Bruckshot, DJ Pella, & MAd ONe – Kick off will be August 15th 2009 @ 10pm, admission good behaviour!

Food To Be Served At The Wagon and Horses

From 3rd of August 2009, food will be served at The wagon and Horses. The decision was made to finally get the kitchen up and running after many years of closure. At first the menu will be eclectic and used to test out new taste and recipes. This will be an exciting period for the patrons because it will mean very very special deals. Watch this space!

On a hot Sunday afternoon LicksnTrix have a jam session at The Wagon and Horses.

However, Dessie who is filming was a bit drunk when she decided to film Steptoe and Eileen trying to audition for ‘Strictly come Dancing’. Somehow I think they need some more practice.

The band Bootleg had a jam session in ‘The Wagon’ and the drummer got carried away with his turn to improvise (contains swearing).
